After a month plus of living like a zombie, today finally marks the last day of work! I seriously didn't know that i was so excited until one of the colleague told me that i beamed with joy today. Hahahaha. Did i mention before that i have a very very pretty colleague who just graduated from University? Yes, my only consolation from this work experience. And no, i'm not lusting over her, as jade said. Working with a bunch of psychologists is never fun for you'll never understand their joke. "I'm going to molopolize everyone!" turns out to be so funny that eveyrone roars with laughter. Maybe i'm just too dumb, but whatever. Haha. The words they use make me feel like my english standard is as high as a pre-school kid. At least i don't need to wake up at 6 every morning for the time being. But i might be going back there during the vacation and such because i can save the trouble of searching for job. Oh well, shall think about it later on. Can't believe school's starting in a couple of days and Mr Forever-Hungry is still in the same class. How thankful can i get. Pfft. I think i'm losing my sarcasm during the period i'm working. Very seldom will i find myself talking back to people sarcastically lately, in a joking manner of course, and i'm missing it. Oh damn! I just realized something. I forgot to bid farewell to 2 of my best friend at work - binding machine and shredding machine. My companion during the 6 weeks. They are the perfect example of how a friend should be. Okay, this entry is full of random sentences that doesn't even tally up. I think the excitement about not having to see Melody again is filling up my brain cells like drugs that i can't seem to function the brain properly.

Today's all about the food baby! Haha. I'm just kidding, i seriously need to stop having so much intake! Anyway, since today's the second last day of work, i decided to splurge a little during lunch and went to the "IN" place at Holland V right now - Cold Rock. This ice-cream parlor has been making news lately, be it the papers or tv (they're everywhere!), and thus we decided to give it a try. I ordered White Chocolate and Cheesecake flavoured ice cream and added Graham Crackers for the mixing. Seriously, paying $5.50 for a small scope of ice cream is really not worth the money at all, and it's not as if the ice cream are unique or something. I think they taste alright, Island Creamery's still better. Haha. But i still spent on it today because i want to know what's all the buzz about. And that's it. Haha! So after lunch hour, i got a message from Aunty Irene, from my attachment company, saying that she had gotten me muffins from Tanjong Pagar! My favourite muffins! When i met her and ZhaoYu (attachment friend) for dinner yesterday, i was telling her that i'm going to go down next week to buy the muffins cause i've been having the cravings for it for eternity now. Haha. And turns out that she went and get it for me, and even met me at Buono Vista train station after work! The queue at Chocolat N Spice is ridiculously long everyday, i must add, therefore it made me so touched. Okay, i must admit that i used to think that she's kinda too nice in a creepy way but after some time, she is simply a really giving lady. If she's going to be any more nicer, i might just call her godma, like how she had asked me to for a long time. Seriously, this is the BEST muffin i've ever eaten. They're fucking nice, i tell you that, even if i have to swear. They are so soft and fluffy and most importantly, not too sweet! And they're damn cheap, you can get them between a dollar to $1.20. I'm already salivating as i'm typing right now. Haha. I can still remember that one day during attachment, my and my colleague were eating the muffin on our way back to office when it rained. We ran back, got all drench and was eating at the recep counter when a big guest came. We quickly stuffed more than half of the muffin left into our mouth and ran back upstairs. So unglam but it's kinda funny to think about it now. Those were the times.

Oh ya, did i say that i've got a very funny friend. Dear Yas saw me getting on the same bus as her this morning and guess what she do? Before i answer that, i know friends would be saying that Yas and I stay in the same block so how come we're at different stop and that is because she went to interchange to take the bus while i went to the one opposite our block. Okay, i didn't saw her this morning cause i was too grumpy, like i always am in the morning. So halfway through the journey, i got Yas' message telling me that we're on the same bus. I was confused cause i didn't see her at the bus stop and asked why didn't she called me. She said she COUGHED to me. I was trying so hard to hold back my laughter at the bus. I mean, there are dozens of people i walked past everyday who're coughing or sneezing or even snoring. So how in this world would i notice A COUGH? Hahahaha. This is so cute la! We're totally acting out the "so near yet so far" scene. Haha! And lastly, i had a terrible dream last night. A total nightmare. I dreamt that Ms Tan from Fajar came to take my weight and she told me that i'm overweight! This is such a depressing dream and it's affecting me even in reality. I think this is a sign that i need to stop eating and start exercising! Hahaha. This is gonna be tough. A lot of willpower is needed for this, haha.

Had a sudden impulse to bring the family out for breakfast so yesterday, i was up at 10, a rare feat during the weekends. The whole family (minus my younger brother cause he's having stayover at my aunt's) and grandma went for breakfast at Fajar yesterday morning. I know it's just coffee-shop food but i'm just working part-time and i don't have the capital to bring the family out for a feast yet, haha. It's good to see that grandma's smiling after all the crap she's been through lately. And i like how grandma would take my hand and place it on her's while using the other to stroke my hand. It makes me feel all kiddish again and it is during such times that i wish i could go back to being a child and be spoilt by gramp's love. Haha. But it's okay, it's my turn to shower her with all the love possible and i'll gladly take on this role.
In just a blink of the eyes, we bid farewell to Sunday and welcome Monday, unwillingly (applies mostly to working people and students). I don't know why, but ever since i started work here, Monday blues seem to hit me pretty heavy each week and i'll be as grumpy as an old man and tend to get tired really easily. Haha. I'll just keep dozing off at work and today, i nearly slammed my head on the CPU, which i'm thankful that i didn't.
You know, being a frequent bus taker, there are some kind of people which i can't stand. And i'm pretty sure most of us have such experience before. Particularly, i can't stand people who love sitting on the seat outside and not let anyone take the inner seat by either pretending to sleep or put their shopping bags there. Ridiculously rude and unreasonable when everyone is paying the same amount they do, for the distance travelled. I mean, what's wrong with sitting inside? Yeah, maybe you're getting off soon but even if you need to get off before the person on the outside did, you can politely say excuse me or something. I doubt anyone would just say "Oh, i have had a freaking huge ass and i can't move. So make your way out by climbing to the front seat." People would let you off! So what's with all the selfish act? Sometimes, i just wish i could muster the courage and sit on their lap and say "Opps, i need to get in since you're too darn lazy to move your lard ass". But you know i'll never do that. Hahaha. Also, another kind of annoying bus etiquette is those who tend to sit as though they have ginormous crotch. They'll open their leg wider than a right angle and think that we somehow have a magically tiny butt to squeeze into those remaining space. I think this kind of people shall be condemned from taking bus or maybe we can have special "selfish bus", where the seats are all placed individually and there's enough space for them to rest their gigantic golden crotch. Haha, i guess all will only occur in my dream. So now, it's back to reality and tomorrow, i'm back to squeezing buses. As quoted from LeeLian "I'm so excited i can't breathe".

Two videos have been released one day after another by two much talkabout artistes - Britney Spears and Kelly Clarkson! Yes, the controversial Britney Spears actually took some time off her busy date with the papparrazzi (i've no idea how to spell that) and shot the video of her debut single, Gimme More. I don't know why but i'm in love with the song and it's making me having the urge to get her album when it comes out in November. Anyway, the video is about Miss Britney taking on two role - good old blonde innocent Britney and brunette, sexy, stripper Britney. I think she's looking good and you know, people should cut her some slack. Anyway, here are the screencaps!
On the other hand, my ultimate idol - Kelly Clarkson - finally released the video of her second single in the UK, Don't Waste Your Time. It's like a rocker fairytale set in a castle where Kelly was seen blocking the guy out with vines all over the castle, giving the guy the message "Don't Waste Your Time". I love it! She's puuuuuuurrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeettty in the video. I mean. the eyes are so captivating.

I believe that somewhere in this little dot island we're living at, there must be a book that teaches us how to handle annoying co-workers. I need to get that, real bad. There's not a moment where i don't feel like throwing a punch at that person's face. I have two really crappy co-workers and everyday, they never fail to increase my blood pressure level. It's not that they're being annoying on certain day. Instead, they're doing something small EVERYDAY to piss the hell out of a person. Never have i thought that such person exist, but i was proved otherwise. I'm thankful that i'm there as a temp staff or else i'm sure i would hit rock bottom real soon. And i'm serious about that.

Little Miss-I'm-So-Sophisticated speaks perfect English. On the menu spells "Baked Fish Fillet with Mushroom Sauce" and the proper way of pronouncing it, according to her, is "Bay - ket fish Fee - let (as in the way of pronouncing outlet)". Down right classy, missy.

Yesterday, Meow and I went to town to meet dear YiShi for dinner during her one hour break. Brought her to ThaiExpress as her birthday treat from us as well as passing to her the small gift we made ourselves, which i hope she likes. Haha. The one hour meet up may be short but worthwhile and fruitful for the three of us haven't been out together for quite some time. Happy VERY belated birthday Yishi! Yesterday, i realized how much Thai food has grown on me over the past few months for i used to detest this cuisine like nobody's business, especially TomYum Soup. But it has now become one of my favourite delicacy! I want more Tom Yum Soup, though it's not really good for the digestive system (you know what i'm talking about).
