Before i start my rambling, i gotta wish HuiYing a Happy Birthday! The "da jie" is now officially a big two "o". Well, her birthday was very well-planned i must say, all thanks to everyone! I really enjoy the whole planning process - the shopping for gift, making of the photo album, thinking of activities etc. It's plain fun. People involved are; WeiQi, Liyi, Shandy, Yong Sheng, ZhiCong and me! Her birthday was surprises one after another. So here's how the day went. Birthday girl initially thought she's just celebrating her birthday with Shandy, and all she knew was that they're having lunch and that Liyi and WeiQi would be joining them some time later that day. I, on the other hand, lie to her about having projects and stuff so she don't know that any one of us guys are involved too. So after lunch with Shandy, she was blind-folded and taken to Cineleisure's kBox, where mystery guest number 1 - Wei Qi - was already there. The moment she take down the tie, a birthday song was played, and they sang for 5 hours, from 2 pm all the way to 7 pm. During that time period, the remaining 4 of us were already at Central by 7. Bought a cake and went to this Jap ramen restaurent and wait for the rest to come. When they reached, Liyi went down to meet them while we light up the cake. I think they lie to her about bringing her to the toilet or something, not really sure, and during which all 3 guys remained quiet. So when she sat down and was told to take down the tie for the second time, she was greeted with everyone shouting "Surprise!" before it was immediately followed by the birthday song. Thing is, she doesn't know where she is, cause she was blindfolded all the way from Cine to Central, even when she's on the bus! Hahaha. So that's surprise number 2. Birthday present number 1 was given then. Following suit, HuiYing was blindfolded again after dinner and was brought to another location. Initially, we wanted to bring her to Harry's but there was some function or what, therefore it's jam packed with people. So we settled for Penny's Black, which was next to Harry. After the blindfold was finally taken off, she was presented with present number 2 - Photo album fully filled with pictures which each and everyone has taken with her over the years. There's the birthday girl's picture gallery, group pictures taken years ago, individual page with message and lastly, group pictures taken most recently. Aren't we such a bunch of sweet friends? Hahahahaha. We drank for a while before calling it a night. Was really tired cause there's lesson in the morning and i still have to go back to school for PPP the following morning, which is today. A Saturday! I had to drag my ass off to attend this annoying program. Happy Birthday girl! I hope HuiYing had a great birthday. I had a blast, and i'm sure everyone did.
