HOLY. COW. I just received a letter from NTU stating that they've approved my application and have reserved a placement for me in the School of Business, for year 2010-2011. Oh My God. When dad passes me that envelope, my heart was pounding twice it's normal speed and when i read the content, my jaw dropped to the floor. I'm uncertain if this is the final confirmation because 1) i thought there's some interview process and whatsnot and 2) they want me to mail in my last semester's result. Probably they'll take back the offer when they see my disastrous final result. Hahaha. I hope not. Calling them up tomorrow and crossing my fingers for the time being. I'm on cloud nine right now, but i better stay level-headed. There's a thousand thoughts running through my mind currently and i'm trying my best to stay grounded. I'm utterly speechless. Anyway, that aside, went out with Liyi today, aka Xiao Huang 2! Finally she's ended her 6 days work and is free to go out with me! We cancelled our Jurong Bird Park trip because she found this really short-term job last week, thus making her a couple hundred richer while i survive on zero income. Went to Sim Lim first, my virgin visit. I know, i'm such a country bumpkin but i'm just not an IT person, so that place never spark any interest in me. After which, we head to Marina Square for lunch at Subway. Both of us are huge fan of Subway and we just wish they have membership card, as Liyi suggested. Hahahahaha. Then while having lunch, DIANA CALLED!! YAY! Hahaha. Was just only telling Liyi how much i've missed Diana before she called, half an hour or so later! Hahaha. Then we shopped around Suntec and Marina, bought candies and Harper Lee's novel "To Kill A Mockingbird", as well as exchanged some currency. I've been wanting to read that book for a long time now, ever since Miss Koh Poh Tee recommended it during one of her lesson. Speaking about Miss Koh never fails to bring back those International Economics and Finances days. Her scary lectures and tutorials in which EVERY SINGLE SOUL will pay their utmost attention to, and her sarcasm which is funny and humiliating, depending on whichever role you're getting. Victim, or spectators. But she's a great lecturer, and i learn so so MUCH during her lessons. I really do. She's great. Very memorable indeed. Hahahaha. Oh, and grandma dropped by the house this morning, while i was still in bed. Hahaha. Was in my dreamland when i heard her asking whether i can share my bed with her, cause she got no bed. Hahahahahaha. And i woke up smiling, because i love grandma a LOT! She's cute. Hahahahaha.
