Called up NTU yesterday to query about the placement they offered. Was a bit skeptical, or rather, still in a state of shock over everything. I mean, i didn't expect that i would get enrolled into any course, especially with all the competition. So i was definitely caught off guard, way off! But of course, i'm very grateful and thankful about it and i can't ask for more. There's so much thoughts and emotions running all over the mind yesterday that all i practically felt was numbness. It may be due to the shock or whatever, i'm not sure. But i am happy. It's like a bundle of emotions wrapped around but it's not me to express it. I wanted to yell in joy, cry, run around my house and many many other emotions but i just do it my way, and the only way i know how - smile. I'm really grateful for the opportunity, especially since the parents were very disappointed in my decision to quite JC and join Poly at the very last minute 3 years ago, as they fear that my chances of entering a U would be much lower. So i'm really really thankful. And i just received a letter from NUS today, offering me a placement in Arts and Social Science. Of course i'm gonna choose NTU's Business School, but i'm still grateful for offer. Like Ellen DeGeneres and many other people have said, we should be thankful for everything we have. I couldn't agree more.

Country music legend, Dolly Parton, was the guest mentor on this week's American Idol where the contestants has to each sing a song by this great singer cum songwriter, and i'm loving it! It's a bit disappointing that no one sang "Islands In The Stream" but at least they did however performed most of Dolly's classic like "9 to 5", "I Will Always Love You", "Jolene" and "Coat of Many Colors". It's a great week, i love country music. And of course, Dolly Parton is wonderful. Funny, sassy, witty and she's looking great for a 62 years old! Such an accomplished artiste she is. She performed "Jesus and Gravity", the second single off her latest record "Backwoods Dolly". I went to her website just now and previewed her album and i want to buy it so badly! It's awesome!! Will ask the uncle to get it from me when he goes on his company trip to US in May, it's cheaper there. Hahahaha. Since they've done "Dolly week" this year, they should do "Reba McEntire Week" on the next season! That'll be awesome!! Haha.
