The weekend is practically spent like a cat - waking up late in the morning, stretching self every now and then as well as falling asleep on the couch while watching boring television show. I had initially set out to do a lot of catching up on school work but the lazy gene always triumph the hardworking one so i basically didn't do much really. I thought that since i aren't in the mood to study, i might as well do something productive by reading books that i recently borrowed but they are simply not to my likings and i dumped them aside after a few chapters. So in all, i wasted my weekends on listening to Blackout (Britney Spears) and Carnival Ride (Carrie Underwood) and watch some meaningless boring show on tv. Way to go Ernest, hahahaha. Actually, to be honest, i think Britney's album is really really good. I know she's not famous for her vocal ability, especially now, but she can churn out very catchy tunes which i can't help but fell in love with. They don't really mean anything, i mean the lyrics, but they're really suitable for a good time. I love all the songs, maybe with the exception of "Get Naked (I Got A Plan)" which makes me wonder if she even sang on it. The same goes out to Carnival Ride, in which Carrie Underwood execute each song to perfection with her soothing and powerhouse vocal. The album has got all kind of emotions packed in this 13 tracks album, ranging from sassy to romantic to sad to inspirational. These two albums are really really worth buying, honestly. Okay, i'm in desperate need of inspiration cause i've become exceptionally lazy these couple of days that i don't really want to think about anything, which leads to running out of crap to talk about. I think i need to start meditating now in search for enlightenment.
