Two events yesterday managed to plaster a smile on my face for the entire day. Firstly, it's the 50th Grammy Award. I LOVE the Grammy. Every year, i would sit in front of the TV and watch this annual event live from the US. Though this year has the third lowest viewership in the history of the Grammy, maybe partly due to the writers' strike (which thankfully is over now), but i still love love love it. I don't really care who wins, though it'll be a bonus if my idol did win, but i'm more concerned over the performance. This year, the star-studded ceremony manages to come out with many top notched performances from the industry's most talked about singers. The following are the performances that i really enjoy. Firstly, there's Beyonce and the legendary diva, Tina Turner, setting the stage on fire with one of my all time favourite classic, Proud Mary. Man! This song is so full of energy, full of punch and full of attitute! When you got two diva on one stage, nothing can ever go wrong!
Then there's the very beautiful and talented Alicia Keys, singing her latest number 1 single, No One. I'm not a fan of R&B or Hip Hop music but i adore Alicia Key and her music. She's REALLY good.
Then there's america's country sweetheart cum superstar, Carrie Underwood, rocking out to her smash hit "Before He Cheats". This girl is always so pitch perfect and the last part really tore the roof apart!

Lastly, it's the performance that i looked forward to the most - Amy Winehouse. Taking time off her rehab-stint, the fresh-looking Jazz singer performed live via satellite from her hometown in London because her visa to the US was approved too late. Nonetheless, it's good to see such a talented singer doing so well and sweeping 5 out of the 6 awards she's nominated for. She sang "You Know I'm No Good" and her breakthrough single "Rehab", in which the latter won her the Record of the Year. When it's announced that she won, the expression on her face was priceless. She was shocked and loss for words and her emotions are so genuine. Love her. Hahaha. Now, i just wish that Britney will be the next to get well and get back on top!

The second event that made my day was the meet up with the gang! Went to Nazi's place to chill after a simple lunch at Greenridge. We didn't really do anything significant but it's that simplicity that made it so much fun. I don't know really need to have some grand, extravagant event to make me enjoy myself because ultimately, it's the company that matters, seriously. We talked crap, laugh at each other, pillow fight (actually no. It's solely me hitting the rest as they sit down helplessly, haha) and took pictures. We actually took close to 260 pictures in that few hours at Nazi's place! I don't even know what we took! 260, to me, is a LOT! Such whores we were. Oh ya, we did a little of the Soulja Boy dance and talked in many accent! Hahahahaha. Will update pictures soon. Ah, it's so much fun. Can't wait to meet them again!!
